FLG provides an email dropbox that lets you log emails against leads when they are sent or received outside of FLG.

- need to log communication that didn’t start in the system

- a lead-specific dropbox, or
- a main account dropbox
Lead-specific email dropbox
Each lead has its own unique dropbox email address. Emails sent to this address will be logged directly against that lead.

- Open the lead record
- Select + More options in the top-right
- Click Email Dropbox
- Copy the email address shown (for example: **************@msvr.net)
- Forward an email to the dropbox address, or
- Add it to the Cc or Bcc field when sending a new email
Main account email dropbox
FLG also provides a main dropbox for your account. This can be useful if you want to forward or Bcc emails without selecting a specific lead first.

- Go to Settings > Configuration > Email Dropbox

- Forward, Cc or Bcc emails to the main dropbox address
- FLG will assign the email to the most recent lead that matches the contact’s email address
- If no matching lead is found, the email will not be saved
Things to be aware of
For emails to be logged successfully:
When using the dropbox:
- The email must be sent from a recognised FLG user email address
- The lead must still exist in FLG
When using the dropbox:
- Emails sent via Cc or Bcc will appear as if they were sent through FLG
- Forwarded emails may appear as sent emails or replies, depending on the original content
